Google Page Rank Update December 2010

Looks like there is some Google Page Rank update going on for the 1st day of December 2010. This is not confirmed but many webmasters have seen a change in their sites Page Ranks. Could there be a Google Page Rank Update for December 1, 2010? Anyone noticing difference in their sites page ranks?

The Google PR update is a much anticipated update after the long months of no PR update on the side of Google. While Page Rank is not that too important for many anymore, for some it still matters.

The Page Rank tells the authority of the website/blog. The Page Rank is based on a lot of factors but more especially on the backlinks that a site gets from other sites. The more backlinks from sites with high PR, the greater the chance of the site getting a higher PR.

Directory submissions and link exchanges are simple, common ways to get backlinks to a website. Some people buy links to get one way backlinks to their sites. Google however has been strict when it comes to selling links. Websites caught selling links are penalized, that is PR drops!
