Trade Your old Items for other Stuffs you want: Free

Cris Samarin, founded the site SwitchPlanet. It is a site dedicated to letting its members exchange things, such as DVDS, CDS, Video Games, and books. Instead of just letting your old DVD or CD kept unused, untouched, trade it with another item. With Switch planet you’ll never know what items you will find.

Just register for a free account. There are Social tools such as friends, groups and forums which are made available to help members communicate between trades. Joining is not exclusive to one member per household or IP address. Everyone in the family can join and trade their unused items. Instead of dumping your old belongings and allowing it to clutter and take away space at home, why not share it with others and get another item you can use for free. One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure.

What Switchplanet gets in return for this free service is the donations which members may give. Donations are optional. But take note, these donations go to charities and non-profit organizations. But I have a feeling that the SwitchPlanet also gets something from the donations. How will they maintain the site and the service they are offering if there is no funds backing it.
