Google Adsense Response On Advertising with GPT Sites

Last time I made a post about Easy Way to Drive 100 People to Your Blog for Free.

A reader named Maher told me this:

beware lady influence this might ban you from adsense its said in adsese tos that advertising your site in gpt and paid to click programs may result you in a ban

Because of the remarks above, I immediately emailed the Google Adsense Team and inquired if I am violating the Google Policies by advertising my sites at Box of Dollars. Here's their response:

While the response on my inquiry has not directly answered whether the form of advertising at Box of Dollars is prohibited, I have officially stopped adverstising my sites through Box of Dollars. A careful look at the Google Adsense Policies, you will see this line:

Invalid Clicks and Impressions

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. (emphasized) Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to your account being disabled.

Therefore, advertising at GPT sites is not allowed! I advise all blog owners to never advertise your sites in any paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or else you will have your adsense account banned.

Sometimes, we tend to forget about the Terms and conditions of the programs we are in. So let us always re-read, re-visit the program policies.

1.I had installed the Alexa Toolbar the other day, which means am expecting a higher Alexa Rank next week or the week after that. The alexa url redirect does not work. Here's the information i got from Technospot.net:

Reviewing My Link Exchanges

If you are a constant visitor of this blog, you will know that i have constantly offered free exchanges to all money making sites even if they have no PR or only a PR1. Why? An Idiot Blogger

Here's a new blog that is likely to catch your attention: "The Talking Idiot's Blog". This is a relatively new blog with less than 10 posts to date. The Posts are insane, hilarious and some are disgusting. But they do tickle your mind and by this i mean the posts are amusing and or irritating. The posts are not at all bad. They are just peculiar as the blog's name suggests "Talking Idiot".

Entertaining? This blog is entertaining for me. Few reactions i could likely predict from its readers are "eeww", "yucky", "hahahah", "disgusting", "this is insane!" and the like.

This blog is just starting. So what's the point of criticizing when the idiot is just what i would be under similar cicumstances (of being an idiot!). Talking idiot should write more decent, less vulgar articles, which i expect in a few days.

Doubts Cast on a 13 year-old Blogger

Much has been said about this amazing 13 year old blogger who has made a name in the blogging world and there has been a lot of controversy and speculations about the real identity of this kid. Yes he is a kid as he claims to be and he is the author of "Make Money Online with a 13 year old", whether you believe it or not.

Raising some hot issues:

1. Can Carl really authora "Make Money Online with a 13 year old" Blog? Can a kid as young as 13 years, who is the early days of puberty really write as professional and as sharp as his articles in his blog portray?

My stand:

But i am inclined to believe that at some point, it is not Carl's mind that is speaking through his posts. Why? On my personal judgment, Carl may be exceptional but is it really possible for a high school student who spends most of his time at school starting at 7:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon, exclusive of the back and forth school preparation, homework making at home, and other school related activities, to focus on making money online and in making a professional, functional blog. Everyone knows that making money online is for real and everyone knows as well that it takes a lot of hard work, plenty of time to succeed in this field.

Does it mean that Carl has to spend most of his out of school time online? If so, after school, Carl rests, eats, does some homeworks, and goes online. I wonder what time of the night does he sleep? Well, to be as successful blogger, it doesnt mean you have to face your computer all the time. But the point of the matter is that it takes a lot of your time. Could Carl have managed all of these by himself? Obviously not! Someone, which in my belief is his father, backed him up and even at some point if not most of the time, does the work for him.

2. What if the real person behind his blog is not Carl, the 13 year old? Is this deception?

My Stand:

Of course it is deception per se, making people believe you are someone when in fact you are not what you claim to be. Deception is wrong because you play with people's minds. You benefit on a lie. Who's interest wouldn't be aroused by the idea of a super kid blogger? The idea of a kid blogger is very very interesting and unique.

At the other side, ghost writing could be involved here and i don't treat this as any form of deception.Carl could be the real owner of his blog. But Carl's father who is an SEO expert could write for him, and this fact alone, erases all doubts as to how Carl manages to write the way he does in his blog.

Traffic Boost Equals Money

Not long ago I made a post about generating traffic through box of dollars, which was a success for me. I am not a SEO expert, but i do learn a lot from personal research and by listening to what other people expert in this field have to say. It pays to read a lot online.

Here are a few things i learned about boosting your traffic:

1. Traffic doesnt happen overnight. Getting people to visit your website doesn't happen in one night. Building traffic takes time. Don't get frustrated if people don't come to your site after a few days or a few weeks.

2. Don't be fooled by fake SEO Experts and Fake Submission Sites. There are plenty of directories out there claiming to submit your site to 20,000 or 50,000 directories and promising you high ranking in a snap. Some of these services are all lies. It is good to submit to as many directories as possible but be cautious and never part with your money unless you are sure with the service. It is proper that you do researches first. Remember, traffic and geting a high ranking in search engines is easier said than done.

3. Build Links to increase traffic. Who says, links don't work? Of course links work. Build links with other websites and expect traffic coming to your site through your neighborhood website. Another thing, search engines will rank your site taking into consideration you popularity and how many websites link to you sites among others.

4.Make a Good Page/ Templae Design. Try to make a good template design. Make sure you website loads fast and is easy to navigate. Visitors wouldn't want to surf or wait for a slow loading website. Make your site as neat as possible. Experiment.(i've made a couple of changes for this blog. It's a lot of effort because i don't know much about html)

5. Quality Content, Regular Updates.Always make a content that readers would want to read. Make a valuable content. The words "content is king" has been overly used and abused by bloggers but it's true. And now am using it too "content is king"! Stick it to your head. Do regular updates to your site so it would appea active and worth visiting.

6.Write about your niche and on a variety of topics. I am saying this because over the past days, i get most of my visitors through google, yahoo, and msn searches. My site is visible not only when you search about money making, legitimate earning sies, or scam sites but also when you search for blog templates, adsense, and other keywords. But don't stay too far from what your site is really all about.

7. Continuous Work. Building traffic doesn't end. It is a continuous process. Once you have a good traffic, don't stop, try to get a better traffic than what you are getting.If your traffic goes down, find out what's wrong and fix it.

Now that i have more traffic to this blog, i almost double my income. Traffic is money. So focus on increasing traffic to your site and earn more!!

Wrapping Adsense or Chitika Around Your Blog Post

Despite the availability of information regarding wrapping adsense around post, there are still those who have problems applying the "how to do it instructions", chiefly because not all bloggers are expert when it comes to html or css or anything that has something to do with codes.

I learned two very good tricks on how to add and wrap adsense around your post. The idea is very simple, even a 9 year old kid can do it.

Wrap Adsense Around Post for Classic Blogger

Go to Dashboard, click Edit Html, then look for this code :

Immediately after that code above insert the following code and replace the "all the google adsense code" with your adsense code.

For illustration purposes: Check My "A Lady's Confessions" blog which uses the classic html with adsense and chitika inside and wrapped around the post. Just change "float:right" to "float:left", if you want the ads to show on the left side.

Wrap Adsense Inside Blog Post for New Blogger. You don't need any special code to place adsense ad inside your blog post just like how i do it in this blog. All you have to do is to go to Blogcrowds and use their html parser. Simply place your adsense code unaltered inside the html parser box and hit the "parse" button. Just copy the parsed adsense code wherever you want the adsense ad to appear, whether on top or below your blog post.

Improve Your Page Rank

My filipino friend Kirbitz informed me of this new linking strategy to improve a blog's Page Rank. The idea is simple and similar to viral linking and technorati building. Just copy and paste and spread the news so others may do the same and the linking continues. The success of linking strategy is dependent on the number of bloggers who participate.

Some notes of guidance:

Use the right click + "view page source" way of copying the whole thing applicable for both IE and Mozilla. Also, use CTRL + F to quickly find "start copying here" if your using Mozilla. Its much easier that way. ;)

Basics of Blogging and Monetizing

This article is prompted by fellow mylotians who don't know much about blogging and how to earn from it. I'm going to discuss about how to start a blog for free. There are plenty of free webhosting services one can avail of to start a website. I've enumerated below a considerable number of sites offering webhosting services at no cost.

Step 1. Choose your Blog Platform from the List. If you want to buy your own domain then it's your choice. You can get one at a low price at Godaddy.com.
