I don't know about the laws in America, but if it happened in the Philippines and the Philippine law applies, the lottery winnings will go to the conjugal property, if the money so used in purchasing those lottery tickets came from the conjugal funds. The case would be different if there is no conjugal partnership in the first place and what is actually used to buy the tickets is the personal money of the husband. Well, the Law is a rather complicated subject matter to cover it here in detail.

But if you were the husband, could you dare do that to your wife?
By the way the husband is just so dumb to think his wife will never discover! Come on!

But I think this results hold true in all countries, worldwide(except maybe for the Vatican). This supports the fact that "sex" is one of the most searched keyword online and this explains why having a website that shows some skin or complete nudity is a big hit in the blogosphere.

Insurance is not a desirable topic, in fact I may even call it boring. I don’t like all my insurance related classes back in college. But it’s a very important topic nowadays. Insurance in a way secures our future. It’s not a waste of money to spend in insurance. In case mishaps come our way, like houses burned or getting yourself in some ca accident, at least you’ve got home insurance, car insurance and even life insurance to back you up. I don’t have a house of my own yet or a car of my own but I’ll definitely get an insurance. Insurance is a need in this tough times.

Cash Quests Sold for $15,000

The buzz about Kumiko selling her PR-5 Cash Quest website came late to me. Thanks to Courtney for the information.

Kumiko started her blog at blogspot, just like this blog of mine. Her blogspot blog was already making a name in the blogosphere by that time, till her Adsense Account was banned by google. She then started a new site, this time its not a blog anymore but a website. Kumiko was making money very well with this new website which got a PR-5 in no time.

I heard Kumiko makes at least $1500 a month for her Cashquests site. Surprisingly she sold it for $15,000. That's not a bad amount but not good either for a less than a year old, very profitable website. But what could have prompted Kumiko to sell her site?

If I was at Kumiko's shoes I doubt I'd sell the site for $15000. After all the hard effort you put through for that kind of website, $15000 is not a very tempting offer. Don't you think?

A tough challenge awaits whoever bought the site. Can "He" keep up with what's expected of CashQuests? Will Cashquests be still as reliable, as efficient, as profitable as it was when Kumiko was in charge?

What Divides Bloggers Into Winners and Lossers

Oh boy, he's got a PR-O blog, such loser!

Oh boy, he's got no visitors to his bog, such a loser!

Oh man, he's got a PR-5 websites, how successful!

Oh man, he's earning $5,000 a month, he rocks!

But what is it that divides bloggers into winners and losses? Do we need to look into the Page Rank, the number of hits a blog gets per day, or the dollars a blog makes every month? If you are some robot, a spider or some human crafted software that looks into and analyzes webpages, then you definitely consider PR, hits and the overall structure of a website.

A robot or a spider or whatever it is called technically will analyze a website using these factors:

1. Page Rank
2. Hits
3. Keyword Rank
4. Inbound Links
5. Outbound Links
6. PR of inbound and outbound links
7. etc.

If blogging were some kind of a battle to be won or lost then, if you get no PR, no hits, no relevant links, then you are a deep sh*t loser! Well, that's how a bot or a spider sees your site.

But you are not some kind of a bot who sees nothing, who knows nothing except what it's been program to. How do you divide bloggers into winners and lossers, as a person?

I think all bloggers are strivers and pursuers. Page Rank, Hits are not measures of being a winning blogger or a losser! The real sense of worth and triumph of a blogger comes from being able to do what he really wants and being satisfied.

If you blog for fun and you get only 10 visitors a day, and you're okay with it then you are successful in your own way. If you blog for both fun and money and you get only 10 visitors a day, with zero page rank, yet you feel the sense of satisfaction then you are triumphant. If you have zero page rank yet you get 500 visitors a day, good for you!

The point is being a winner in the blogging field, really depends on you. It's doing and accomplishing what you really want. Being a winner or a loser is not dependent on some kind of Page Rank or SERP which by the way have been losing its credibility and is completely beyond your control. Of course Good Page Ranks or good SERP are sweet treats for any blogger, but then again, its not determinative of success. I have read so many blogs which are worthy of high PR yet they get no PR at all. I made this post to awaken bloggers with low Page Ranks or no Page Ranks at all. The PR says nothing of you being a loser! So go on keep blogging the way you have fun with it.

Google Strikes Again: More Zero Page Rank

This morning, as I decided to change my somewhat old heavy looking template with this new template courtesy of Jackbook, my most dreaded "Page Rank Zero" hit this blog! Google Strikes again and it hit me real hard- right at the very core!

Denial follows this Shocking Truth. "It can't be! I had removed so many links already and have not accepted any other sponsored reviews! It must be a mistake. Or perhaps yet, google is doing some maintenance thing and all's gonna be well".

But is this just temporary, a mistake, or part of the seemingly never ending "Google God-like Page Rank Execution? We all need to wait for the next days or next month. But am happy there is no unlikely changes in my other blogs! That alone I am very thankful.

My Adsense Pin Finally Arrived!

At long last! My Adsense Pin has finally reached my doorsteps! It took me over a month to get my Adsense pin. Wheew! That was a scary wait. I thought nothing would even arrive and my hard earned money will be left uncollected, wasted! I had to request a new pin. But it turns out that, Google really sent my pin on time and it arrived in the Philippines on time, but our postal service is sooooooooo slow in delivering the mails.

I point my fingers at the Postal Service Management in my place for they received my Adsense Pin but NEGLIGENTLY failed to give it to me. I called the Post Office for like 5 times asking if I have a mail and they told me over and over again that there was none. But guess what, all those times that I called, my Adsense Pin was somewhere in their bulk of mails. They did not look into the mails very carefully at my expense. So sad since I wasted my one opportunity to request for New Adsense Pin.

But now I have my Adsense Pin and I'm only waiting for the payment from Google Adsense.

My $67 is Stuck at Payperpost!!!

Not so long ago I joined Payperpost but i was never active due to the absense of Paypal in the Philippines. I never did a single review. But I was clever enough to put the referral code in my blog and convinced people to join PPP. Lucky enough I get some referrals. Refer to Referral stats below:

I also managed to get someone to Review One of my posts which should have yielded $7.50 for me. Unfortunately, none of my referrals have managed to make a post that's approved by PPP. Today I was checking the money I've made from Adsense since I implemented the codes and I'm doing pretty d*mn well, when I realized my account could get banned today, tomorrow or perhaps a few hours from now, without me doing anything at all. It's so easy to get someone's Adsense Account banned!

How? Not much of a carefully thought plan really. Someone, perhaps a fellow blogger or a complete stranger can simply scrape your Publisher ID and place it a website that violates the TOS of Google. Worst, these good for nothing "adsense account killers" will click on the ads over and over again. Then you get the blame for using your adsense codes on prohibited websites. See how easy it is for others to get your adsense account banned? Definitely, not until you get your hard earned money from Adsense, you can't relax (more especially if you are earning way too good)! In simplest terms: Your Adsense Account is not safe! Of course if you get banned you can always beg google for account reinstatement and go through the process wherein you are the victim, the suspect and at the same time the lawyer, as against the respondent, and at the same the judge- Big G! More or less the outcome is predictable.

Well, I am waiting for the time when google will make it possible for bloggers to specify which sites their adsense codes will appear. This way, we know who's using another's adsense pub ID and make the Publishers stand on a more safer ground!

Now it's possible to choose which sites your adsense codes will appear. Thanks to a fellow blogger for informing me about this. Now we could be safer. Specify which sites your adsense ads will run. Set it up now:

1. Login in to your Adsense Account
2. Go to Adsense Set-up.
3. Click Allowed Sites
4. Choose "Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account"
5. Enumerate your blogs or websites that will show your adsense ads.

Protect Your Adsense Account from Hackers

Do you know that your adsense account can be hacked? There are many technology geniuses out there who are not putting their brains for goodness' sake. These people could be hacking your adsense account, changing your adsense codes, replacing your adsense codes with their own publisher ids. 5. Re-submit to search engines, Ping your blog. Refresh your presence with search engines. Spread the news that you have a new post by pinging your blog. But do these cautiously. If you observe, after a quick blog ping, you get new crawlers and spiders to your blog.

So stay afloat! Don't be too casual and complacent!

How to Make Money Without Selling Links

When Google penalized bloggers for selling links on their blogs the most affected are small time bloggers. With the possible effect on Page Rank by selling links, small time bloggers have lost a very effective way of monetizing their blogs. To mention a few of programs that have helped many bloggers earn online, we have:

With these types of earning programs, small time bloggers are at least guaranteed more or less a $100 a month. Making reviews make instant money. Imagine a 50 word review that will give you as little as $5 to as high as $300, and how about putting a single link in your blog for $5 to $100 a month.

The programs so mentioned above had really helped me make money online. But now, Google has set its rules. "Sell Links and Loose Your Page Rank". There is definitely some good reason behind this but the question now is "How can we make money without selling links?". Certainly, the ways to make money online for now have been limited but am sure there will be more opportunities, more money making programs to look forward to. It's very possible to make money online without selling links or making reviews. There really is not enough reason to frown or get upset. As for me, I now focus more on adsense, chitika, clickbooth, voxant and shopping ads. I'm committed to make money online and nothing will bring my hopes down.

Vacation is Over: Back to Money Making

I am back! Just arrived this morning. All things seem to be well. Back to money making, I received $86 dollars the other week and I have over $50 in my paypal account. I am waiting for my google adsense pin so I can get my over $200 money. I am also waiting for my other checks. Got a good start for this month. But I doubt I'll make a good finish! No more links, no more reviews as they affect my Page Rank but there are plenty of sites to make money from. Let's see. Keep an eye on this blog if you want to know about how to make money online.
